Answering Islam

"trodden path" - model behavior of forebearers of pre-Islamic tribes. Used in Islam to mean the traditions of Muhammad, i.e. the way, custom or example of Muhammad. "sunna al-fail": what Muhammad did. "sunna al-qual": what Muhammad enjoined.
