A Divine Visitation

The Journey to Pittsburgh

Roots in Jaffa
Born in the ancient and historic city of Jaffa, Israel, Benny was raised in a strict, multilingual environment. Afflicted with a severe stutter from childhood, he was isolated and rejected, creating a deep need for the ultimate Comforter.
Broken Chains
In a powerful high school vision, an angel broke Benny's chains and placed him outside Georges Vanier Secondary School. Soon after, during a student prayer meeting, he gave his life to Jesus and heard the voice of the Spirit for the first time.
Daily Communion
Benny Hinn woke up early the next morning and uttered his first words of the day: "Good morning, Holy Spirit!" Instantly, the presence returned. From that moment, the Bible came alive, and he began a daily communion that would touch millions worldwide.
